Vapor Barriers

We offer 6.5, 10, or 16.5 mil plastic.

For a standard vapor barrier, we blanket the crawlspace with a vapor barrier and reinforce with metal stakes.

Crawlspace Encapsulation

We apply 2 inches of closed cell spray foam to the perimeter walls, blanket the crawlspace floor with a reinforced vapor barrier and heavy duty tape, seal pillars and vents, insulate crawlspace door, and install dehumidifier. The benefits of a crawlspace encapsulation are keeping humidity at a low rate of 50%, cleanliness, helps to keep out pests and critters, helps to prevent mold growth, preventing floor cupping, and energy efficiency.
